Greetings friends,
Yesterday was the first day of the MidPoint Music Festival here in Cincinnati, OH. After checking in, and getting my artist badge, I began tooling around the city; checking out several of the venues that are hosting music this weekend during the festival.
I decided to post up for the night at The Blue Wisp Jazz Club, and could not be happier with my decision. There were three excellent artists playing last night at The Blue Wisp. Gaby Moreno (L.A. by way of Guatemala) kicked things off, followed by Clare and the Reasons (Brooklyn), and the night was closed out by the legendary Van Dyke Parks (L.A)! All three were exceptional, and put on killer shows.
I will be participating in an "In-The-Round" tonight at Neon's Unplugged. I can't wait to start playing music here at MidPoint. It is always so inspiring and energizing to be around such great talent.
